In 2019, Harvest Green Developments designed and installed a 23.08kW solar PV system across the rooftop of Lagan Investments’ offices in Banbury, along with 4 EO Genius EV charging points for their carpark, which will generate an estimated 21,305kWh of clean electricity a year for the business.
Lagan Investments is an investment company with family roots in construction and property. Their headquarters are based in Belfast and have an impressive investment portfolio that stretches throughout the UK and Ireland.
Technology
The solar PV system consists of Tier 1 solar panels supplied by Hanwha Q Cells, together with module-level optimisation technology provided by SolarEdge inverters, which allows remote monitoring capabilities to view, track, and monitor performance for each individual solar panel. This is beautifully complimented with EV charging points supplied by EO, a UK based company, which use the clean electricity produced by the solar panels to charge up electric cars.
John Lagan – Director of Lagan Investments:
“Corporate responsibility and sound business ethics are the cornerstones of how each Lagan company operates. We take pride in fulfilling our duty to behave as a responsible business because we believe it is the right thing to do.
“Harvest Green Developments alongside other suppliers provided us with a quotation to install Solar PV & Electric Vehicle Charging Points at Finance House in Banbury.
“Sam went the extra mile to understand our demands as a business and built a solid business case to implement PV and EV charging points. The installation went extremely well under very difficult weather conditions, it was great to see The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 being adhered to.
“I would highly recommend Harvest Green Developments to anyone considering installing the technology.”
