Perrigo powers their operations with solar on their journey to net zero

Read the case study

Perrigo use available space on their roofs and on the ground to maximise their renewable energy potential

In 2022, Perrigo made a significant stride towards sustainability by partnering with Harvest Green Developments to commission the second phase of its solar PV installation. Building upon the successful first phase, which we delivered to the rooftop, the total number of solar panels now installed across both the ground and rooftop has reached an impressive 3724. This milestone is a testament to Perrigo’s commitment to becoming net zero, which sees the solar panels generate a remarkable 1498.8kWp of renewable energy that significantly helps to power the company’s manufacturing facility in Braunton, Devon.

Established in 1887, Perrigo is one of the largest global suppliers of high-quality and affordable over-the-counter self-care products, supplying more than 30 markets alone in Europe. Their impressive manufacturing network, consumer-focused innovation, and personalised support offering, enables Perrigo to provide more than 5,000 different pharmaceutical products across 200 brands.
